ABOUT
I've been practicing art for more than 20 years. I enjoy painting many styles, using unique textures and materials. Mixing and blending colors inspires me. Letting go of all inhibitions, letting the painting take shape and have a life of it's own. I never know where I may end up, but I'm always delighted to find out. I do not believe in creating cheap art, all my work is created with quality paints on exhibition style canvases to last a lifetime.
I started out as a child drawing animals, and nature scenes. As I got older, I sketched portraits, and then started using oil paints. I commissioned hundreds of oil portraits, people, animals and kids.
My true love is abstract art and subtle impressionistic colourful works full of depth, color and textures.
I lived in New Zealand from 2005 - 2015, and opened my own gallery in Thorndon, Wellington. I now paint full time, which has been a dream of mine! I recently moved back to the US and am based out of Southport, NC - where I have a small studio in my home. My work can currently be seen at Franklin Square Gallery.
